Our Key Projects and Initiatives:

What we do…. :

1. SHREEMOYEE : Presently, PATHIK, are running a Women Empowerment Project “SHREEMOYEE – A PROJECT ON WOMEN HYGIENE” for developing a Self-Sustainable Ecosystem for Menstrual Hygiene in the Rural Areas started at Jorhat and Marigaon in assistance of ONGC, Jorhat. The project Shreemoyee is purely on Women’s Health and Hygiene and Sustainability. Where Awareness on Women’s Menstrual hygiene is done along with the distribution of low-cost Sanitary pads occurs. A production machine of sanitary pads is installed at Malouali, Jorhat. Where rural women are been trained for Production, Packaging and Distribution of Sanitary pads by NGO Pathik targeting the Sustainable development along with Health and Hygiene. Presently, the project Shreemoyee is been carried to 117 villages, 19 colleges and 21 schools of Jorhat district covering 5960 women all over Assam.
2. MUKTIPATH : PATHIK’s ongoing and well-known Initiative named MUKTIPATH – which is a project for the poor and needy people at their last journey of their inmates or loved ones. Where the expense for the Burial (Funeral) ceremony will be provided to the person who is in Genuine Need. All will be covered or supported with the MOTO of “One Community and One Religion”. Presently this Muktipath is taken to all parts of Assam covering all community of people. For this purpose, a fund generation process is been started by introducing a What’s App Community Group named as Muktipath where each member enrolled in the group donates a minimum of Rs.100/- up to Unlimited every month according to their own capacity of the donor, which have been monitored under a daily basis auditing system where anybody with kind hearted and willing to help others can join Muktipath.

   We (Muktipath) are now 84 members, supported 415 poor people along with 62 unclaimed body with overall 477 in Total, covering Guwahati, Jorhat, Nagaon, Majuli, Duliajan, Gohpur, Nalbari, Borpeta planning to cover entire Assam in coming days.

   SBI had donated 2 numbers of Dead body Carrying Vans for project MUKTIPATH this November, 2024. Which is running Smoothly at Jorhat and Guwahati.

3. NIZA : Niza – a project of rural sustainability development. Here, we have started a Brown Egg production, training and distribution system through this project this year 2023 with the help of CSR initiative of ONGC, Jorhat. We have covered 25 families in the first phase for the Project targeting an Egg village of 120 Families. Egg production is started and the Eggs are marketed through PATHIK for the farmers.
4. JALASPANDAN : PATHIK, had started project named JALASPANDAN – A project of pure water distribution system for the poor. This project is been initiated with the CSR support of ONGC, Jorhat through which we covered 378 villages under 9 police stations and 13 police outposts of Jorhat about 27000 villagers.
   Started new 100% Pure and Implemented a fully Automated RO water
   distribution system for the Students and College Teachers of CKB College, Teok covering 1800 Students.
5. HEPAH : PATHIK, is on the process of Skill development center for the specially able people through the project “HEPAH”. Here, we find out the skill through counseling and observation with the people who are specially able, letter we try to make them physically and mentally fit to overcome the hurdle and train them with specially designed skills for their individual sustainability. Pathik is already working with the specially able people since 2014. As we counsel them, motivate them along with their parents and if required help them with medical and economic support. Already, supported 160 Specially abled persons till date.
   Started a sustainable development for a 80% blind 50 years old man named Babul Das from Polashbari, Kamrup by developing a daily shop casting Rs.20,000/- 
6. CANCER : Pathik, is working dedicatedly on Cancer and creating awareness against Tobacco and Cancer amongst the different age group of the society. In this context Pathik is organizing different health checkups, Cancer awareness and counseling, awareness
   camps at different places of Assam for last 22 years. Anti-Tobacco and Anti-Cancer activity is the key work of PATHIK for which Pathik made a trade mark work through the Anti-Tobacco Walkathon – a mass awareness program against Tobacco involving thousands of youths with celebrities which first in North-East since 2017. We have covered
   6860 people till date through counselling and medical support.
7. RAKTODOOT : Pathik, is helping with free blood donations to the patients in need all over Assam. We have already donated more than 8731 blood units all over Assam at various Hospitals. We have also conducted several Blood donation and awareness camps.
8. MOU : Pathik, is working with the child Health and Nutrition through the Project “MAU”. We arrange awareness camps for the mothers for the development of the child nutrition and maintain the chain. Recently helped a eight (8) years old child boy for his operation for the spot in the heart  at Bangalore through RVSK scheme under Govt. of India.
9. SAHAI : Pathik is working with the mentally disturbed people for the rural area through the project “SAHAI”. Here, we try to counsel the patients, test them through clinical psychologist and try to heal by Psychotherapy and Psychologist. Recently, we have served for 88 victims of the biggest Boat Accident at river Brahmaputra near Nimati Ghat on 8th September, 2021 where we set up a 5 day camp and one to one healing method at Majuli.
   This project is for the psychological, mental and clinical Support.
10. ORGANDAAN : Pathik is working on the awareness about the organ donations. As people is not aware about the donation processes. They feel that organ donation means delivering the body to the hospital. Also, body or organ can be donated in two processes like LIVE or DEATH. Organs like Heart, Lungs, Liver, Kidneys, Pancreas, Intestines, Corneas, Skin etc.
    Pathik organised an awareness cum Pledge taking program at Cotton University on 21st Birthday of Pathik. It scored a record for joining a 19 numbers of Donors who have taken a pledge at the same time of a program. We have completed 47 organ donation registration till date.

11.      SANJIVAN : Pathik started a new ambulance service with the SARUPATHAR, URIAMGHAT AND Dhupgurifor some interior locations covering                         1,25,000 population with the financial Support of ONGC, Jorhat during 2025-26.

12.       SOURABARDHAN: Pathik is in the process of a Solar Project named as Sourabardhan for the location of Naukhuti, border of Nagaland and Assam          with    the security Assistance of CRPF, for the Drinking water and Street lights for the local people of Naukhuti, where there is no electricity and                 water    supply since inception. Also, planning a solar street light at three villages of Negulli, at the Golaghat Border.

13.      SUNDAY OPD: Pathik is giving voluntary services to the people since 2003 in every way of life. Health Care is also one of the major services of PATHIK. As we are serving the people through Counselling, Doctor Support, sometimes financial Support, Laboratory Support, OPD support etc in the field of CANCER, Heart Diseases, Sugar diseases, Urology, Nephrology, Gynae and others at various hospitals like Dr B Baruah Cancer Institute, GMCH, JMCH, North East Cancer Hospital, Arhi Hospitals etc. Now, PATHIK had started a new concept known as SUNDAY OPD. Where patients recieves the better Consultancy from the Renowned Doctors for free. Here, at the first phase we are trying to come up with Diabetic, Dantel, Medicine, Neuro Psychology, Gynae, Child, Urology, De-addiction, Nursing and Counselling at one place on every Sundays. On the besis of the public responds, we will try to cover other subjects. Here, we we also providing free medicines(as required) and up to 60% discounted cost on Pathological Analysis too. Again, in the second phase we will take the SUNDAY OPD as the OUT-REACH PROGRAM and organise a CAMP at the remote places with these Doctors once in a Month where there is no communication of Doctors or Medical help.

14.       DISASTER: Distributed 50 Numbers of Safety Kits to CIVIL DEFENSE of Jorhat District, to DC Jorhat with support of CSR, ONGC Jorhat.

Pathik, is also committed with the associated work for the developmental work of Cultural activities and Cultural Exchange.
