What we do :

"CANCER" :

Pathik do a regular visit to Dr. B. Baruah Cancer Institute (BBCI) and North East Cancer Hospital and Research Institute in Guwahati. BBCI and NECHRI are the premiere Regional Institute for treatment and research on Cancer in the North-Eastern region.

We also visit other Hospitals in various districts of Assam as and when required.

We help the patients in the out patient department as Follows :

In registration and in meeting the respective Doctors in the OPD.
Provide counselling support to patients and their relatives.
Aggange blood and platelets for Cancer and other patients undergoing operations.
Guide economically challenged patients to get supports from other financial sources.
Guide the patients and their families to find suitable accommodation of their choice within the proximity of the hospitals.
Arrange ambulance services as and when required.

"SHREEMOYEE" - WOMEN HEALTH, HYGIENE & SUSTAINABILITY :

The Aim of the project is to contribute to PATHIK’s attempts to create a sustainable community-led model to promote women’s access to menstrual hygiene awareness and production of low cost, compostable sanitary pads in rural Assam, ensure a robust distribution network of women and also deploy a disposal mechanism.

We visit rural and interior villages for awareness.

We visit rural Schools for awareness.

We visit rural Colleges for awareness.

We visit Blocks for awareness.

"MUKTIPATH" – ALWAYS THERE FOR THE POOR AT HIS LAST JOURNEY OF LIFE :

PATHIK, is running a project named MUKTIPATH – A project for the poor and needy people at their last journey of their inmates or loved ones. Where the expense for the Burial (Funeral) ceremony are been provided to the person who is in Genuine Need. There is no barrier of Cast or Community or Religion. All will be covered or supported with the MOTO of “One Community and One Religion”. The project “Muktipath” as inaugurated on 26th January, 2021 on the 72nd Republic Day of India at Three locations like Nabagraha cemetery, Bhutnath Cemetery and Bashistha cemetery as a first step. This project is now taken to all parts of Assam covering all community of people. Till date we have supported 60 unknown people for their purpose.

For this purpose a fund generation process is been started by introducing a What’s App Community Group using the number: 094350-91199, named as Muktipath where each member enrolled in the group will donate a minimum of Rs. 100/- up to Unlimited every month according to their own capacity, which will be monitored under a daily basis auditing system. Anyone can join and contribute the group MUKTIPATH and serve the poor.

"WALKATHON" - A WALK AGAINST TOBACCO :

Pathik, is working entirely on health, specially on Cancer and creating awareness against Tobacco and Cancer amongst the different age group of the society.
In this context Pathik is organizing different health checkups, Cancer awareness and counselling, Cardio Vascular Diseases (Heart Diseases) awareness camps at different places of Assam for last 20 years.
Anti Tobacco and Anti Cancer activity is the key work of PATHIK for which Pathik made a trade mark work through the Anti-Tobacco Walkathon- a mass awareness program against Tobacco involving thousands youths with celebrities which first in North-East since 2017.

"JALASPANDAN : a project of purified water distribution system for POOR"

Pathik, encounter several people in its work field, where they always try to bring out their difficulties in their life.
In this context Pathik started a new project named as JALASPANDAN - a project of water distribution system for the poor people of Assam recently.
After an application

we visit the place, try to understand the nature of people.
survey the water level and problem.
then try to come up with a good solution.
then try to come up with a good and economic system with a financial support(probably CSR).

for the place which can solve the water problem permanently.

Now it is running at Jorhat and Duliajan and proposed to move all parts of Assam covering all community of people. >> 26th March 2019: Press Meet for 3rd Anti Tobacco Walkathon. >> 4th February : Street Play and awareness program arranged at 3 places of Guwahati. >> 2nd September 2017 :Flood relief and Free Medical Camp at Barbhakati and Purabheti of Jakhalabandha, Kaliabor for around 700 people. >> 15 August : Pathik distributed Food, water, fruits, juice to about 100 street people in around Beltola, ganeshguri, Ganeshmandir, Dispur, Christianbasti, Bhongagarh, Lasit nagar, Nepali Mandir, Paltan Bazar, Ambari, Railway Station, Panbazar, Dighali Pukhuri, Ulubari. Also, distributed water and cold drinks to around 80 nos of Police man on duty. >> 2nd August : Foundation day of PATHIK with the Orphan children of Shishu Mangal Kendra, Noonmati through Lunch, singing, quize, art, awareness, tea, sweets, and donation of vegetable stuffs for the canteen.
